These pieces represent two bodies of work. In the first I gathered stamps from an old collection and created stories around these stamps. I chose to use a variety of mediums including found objects and photos, and included the stamps in the pieces.
In the second body of work I appropriated styles of text from popular culture references and replaced the texts with my own words leaving the styles as they were before. I then illustrated images to accompany these texts based on themes of good and evil, consumerism vs. environmentalism and the challenges faced by a scrupulous individual participating in a materialistic society.
